I began my 72 hour challenge on Sunday evening, November 23 at 6 pm. I thought that the evening would be the easiest way to go 72 hours. I used LifeCaps until the morning of Thanksgiving day, so it was actually more than 72 hours. I took just 3 a day, 1 around 9-10 am; 1 around 1-2 pm; 1 more around 5-6 pm. Not having my bowl of oatmeal each evening before bed was one of the hardest parts (I know – very “old lady-like”)! I felt my energy level was 100% the first day, and maybe about a 5% reduction the end of the first full day, with an additional 5% each day thereafter. I clean homes for part-time work, and at no time was my work hindered or slowed down because I was using LifeCaps. I use a treadmill every morning for about 45 minutes, and kept that up, too. I did drink lots of water, but I drink lots of water anyway. I chew gum regularly, also, and did so during the challenge as well. My weight went from 145 lbs to 138. Frankly, that excited me most! Of course, during Thanksgiving I managed to make up for lost time, but I did not gain it all back. This morning, in fact, I weighed 142 lbs.
